For me tonight is a surreal night. Things are changing. I am enjoying people and challenges as never before, and embracing the adventures of life. I am reading more, and taking more time for my own recharging, and focusing more on goals.
Tomorrow is my road test out in the Fraser Valley. One important thing that I did today was to drive about 20 km of distance around Vancouver and North Vancouver, in the dark, on the highway and on city streets, and remember that I still know how to drive safely and confidently.
Somehow, magically, I will do all the things that need to be done tomorrow. Just with the magic of one foot in front of the other, and the powerful spell "What do I want to do next?" Invoke that one and the possibilities become friendlier, more radical and practical.
what is surreal about tonight? the awareness that the changes I have been focusing on are happening, here and now in my life and in the lives of people who matter most to me. a shift in possibilities and an opening up of wonder and courage to allow the unknown to enter.
surreal, and real friendly. that's my life.

Wicked, wicked road test! I did not pass, but I was close! And we weren't playing horseshoes. Lots of things I did right, and I made too many mistakes. Oh well. Better luck next time!
At least next time you take your test you won't be so nervous, having got through the process already.
If we never make mistakes we will never succeed. I hope you retake it again soon.
Thank you for your comment on my blog!
